Russ Parker, P.Eng., MSc, CD (Canadian Decoration) is a professional engineer with significant experience leading multidisciplinary teams in the completion of large capital projects, especially in the agricultural sector.
He is also a supportive husband, dedicated father of two, avid scuba diver, passionate traveler, and citizen philosopher.
Russ has also been a member of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) for the last 25 years in both a full- and part-time capacity. In the CF he has worked as a diesel mechanic, marine engineering systems operator, and port inspection diver. He has executed numerous diving missions in both exercise and operational settings. In 2010, he was a team leader as part of the longest sustained ice diving operation in CF history, near CFS Alert, NWT.
Russ has spent his career forming and leading different types of teams. His latest adventure is founding Parker Design Alliance Inc., a worker self-directed engineering consultancy specializing in project management of complex projects and other assignments of special interest.
