Pulse Cleaning & Transload Facility
Our client purchased several land plots along a rail siding with a desire to develop the site for several separate purposes. Parker provided owner’s representative and project management services for the design and construction of a pulse truck to rail transload facility with cleaning capabilities.
The project was undertaken to add canola processing facilities to an existing grain terminal. Facilities to be added included: pre-press and pelletizing, oil extraction, water treatment, wastewater treatment, on-site power generation, new seed receiving and storage, and new rail infrastructure for oil and meal loading.
As the Owner’s Representative and Project Manager, Parker was responsible for assembling and directing a complete project team consisting of various engineering firms, equipment suppliers, and construction entities, to move the project from feasibility through planning and definition, into the design and procurement phases.

Site Assessments and Evaluation
On behalf of our client, Parker has been engaged to prepare loss prevention reports and probable maximum loss reports for various agricultural and cannabis production/processing facilities. To prepare the reports, Parker completes a site inspection to observe physical conditions at the facility and to review the facility programs with staff with the aim of reducing the potential of accidental loss. Based on the findings of the inspections and information provided, Parker issues reports principally designed to identify exposures of risks and hazards which if not rectified may increase the frequency or severity of losses at the facilities.
